Lige Newton

Singer/Songwriter Lige Newton hailed from the small town Polson MT, at the foot hills of the Mission Mountains. He was given his first guitar at age 1. Lige grew up in a home where music was always the entertainment and study. Coming from an artistic family, and parents with a great appreciation for playing music, he soon wrapped one hand around the neck of the guitar and held a pick in the other.

At the age of seven, Lige, his parents and sister started a family band, and for the next several years played at local festivals and competed in several of the Montana State Fiddlers contests. As he got older Lige amerced himself in writing and arranging his own music. Being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 13, Lige had obstacles to overcome and music became his solace.

After graduating high school, Lige moved to Spokane, WA to attend Spokane Falls Community College for audio engineering and is currently utilizing his skills producing music for RezErected Records. He recently released his first EP "Before Winter Comes Again", consisting of four original tracks self- produced and mastering done by Shadow Devereaux.

Aside from his solo work, he is currently involved in fusion-elecronic group Woolgather Project, and fellow RezErected artists the Codependents.
